One day, Shehu came home in the afternoon, very tired. With great effort, he climbed the stairs to his house, opened the windows, and lay down. As he was about to fall asleep, he heard someone knocking vigorously on his door. He got up with difficulty and looked out the window, seeing a fat man. Shehu said, "Sir, who are you here to see?"
The man replied, "I'm here to see you." Shehu said, "Alright, I'm listening." The man said, "I have something to tell you." Shehu asked, "Can't you tell me from there?" The man said, "Please, sir, come down."
Shehu reluctantly came down. The man then said, "Sir, I've come to ask for your help with a problem." Shehu felt a surge of irritation but managed to suppress it and said, "Let's go upstairs."
They climbed the stairs together, with the fat man struggling to ascend. When they finally reached the top, Shehu said, "May God grant us success." The man's temper flared, and he said to Shehu, "WHY DID YOU MAKE ME CLIMB UP WITHOUT TELLING ME FROM DOWNSTAIRS?"
Shehu replied, "WHY DID YOU MAKE ME COME DOWN WITHOUT TELLING ME WHILE I WAS UPSTAIRS?" The man then descended with great difficulty.
